Global / Multiple Locations - The Fragmented Self Weaponizes the Body's Sustenance to Annihilate the Other
Event Baseline: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive-laden car near a passenger train in Quetta as it passed, killing at least 23 people, many of them military personnel returning home for Eid celebrations.
In the delusion of tribal conflict, the self identifies so absolutely with its illusion that it sees the other's children, their bellies, as legitimate targets. The body politic turns on the biological body, denying the universal need for food. This is the ultimate fracture: the division between 'us' and 'them' becomes so absolute that the shared dependence on Earth's gifts is forgotten. The attacker sees not a human who hungers, but an enemy to be starved.
This is a psychosis of separation. The thought-created enemy is dehumanized to the point where the most basic act of sustenance becomes a battlefield. The attacker believes that by destroying the other's food, they destroy the other. But food is life, and life is universal. This act is a direct assault on the interconnected web of being. The mind that does this has lost all proprioception of its own dependence on the same cycle.
Such thinking leads to total systemic collapse. As one group starves another, it guarantees its own eventual starvation. The illusion of the separate self, fighting for its survival, ensures mutual destruction. There is no victory in this dance of death, only the silent scream of a species turning its tools on its own body.
