The state is a self hallucinating its own totality. It cannot tolerate the fragment of the other, so it passes a law to erase the fragment. This is the mechanical operation of thought: to impose a single identity where there is only diversity. The law is a weapon to enforce the illusion of oneness. It will produce only resistance and deeper fragmentation. The authoritarian self cannot see that its attempt to unify is the very act of division. It creates the 'minority' by naming it and then seeks to dissolve it. This is incoherence. The regime is trapped in a loop: it fears disunity, so it destroys the other, thereby guaranteeing disunity. This law is not protection; it is a death sentence for the living reality of human difference. Until the self sees that identity is a phantom, it will keep building prisons of paper.
