Ukraine / Kyiv - The Warring Self Strikes the Civilian Body, Proving the Illusion of Separate Survival

Event Baseline: A Russian drone strike on a warehouse near Kyiv killed at least 37 people and forced hundreds to evacuate.

The war is not about territory. It is about identity. The Russian state believes it must dominate Ukraine to be secure. The Ukrainian state believes it must resist to exist. Both are trapped in the illusion of separate survival. They cannot see that their security lies in cooperation. They can only see the other as a threat. The result is this strike. A warehouse of civilians is hit. People die. A family is shattered. The cycle of vengeance continues.

The drone is a product of thought. Thought that is identified with a nation. The nation is a concept. The concept is defended with violence. The violence creates more violence. There is no end. The state self cannot stop. It cannot admit it is wrong. It cannot see the other's suffering. It is locked in a loop of reaction. The loop is mechanical. It has no exit.

The strike on a civilian target is a war crime. It is also a psychological rupture. It shows the complete breakdown of the boundary between combatant and noncombatant. The state self no longer distinguishes. It kills anything that moves. This is the endpoint of tribal belief. When the other is fully dehumanized, any action is permitted. The only cure is the dissolution of the tribal self. That cure is not on offer. So the war will continue. It will consume everything.
