[United States / Racial Violence] - The Paranoid Self Shoots the Innocent Other, Proving the Illusion of Safety Through Lethal Force

Event Baseline: A white homeowner in the U.S. was charged after shooting a Black teenager who rang his doorbell. The teen survived after being shot; the homeowner turned himself in to face criminal charges.

The homeowner's mind was already primed by the cultural program of racial otherness. The black body at the door was not seen as a child; it was seen as a threat image stored in the collective unconscious. The trigger was not pulled by a finger but by a reflex of fear created by decades of thought division. The self believes it is protecting its property, but it is only defending a phantom boundary between 'us' and 'them'. This is the mechanical fruit of a fragmented consciousness that cannot see the other as itself.

The legal system will process this as an individual crime, but it is a systemic failure of thought. The same reflex that shoots a child for ringing a bell is the reflex that builds prisons and justifies segregation. There is no insight, only the endless loop of fear and punishment. Until the illusion of separate selves based on skin pigment is dissolved, these shootings will continue. The body of the other is just the mirror the self refuses to see.
