[United States / Mississippi] - The Racial Self Lynches the Female Body to Erase the Other
Event Baseline: In Mississippi, an arrest was made in the death of Tasia Fortune, a Black woman whose body was found hanged from a tree in the lot of an abandoned home in August.
The observer separates self from other by skin color. Thought creates a hierarchy of bodies. The White self sees the Black body as a threat to its phantom of purity and security. It lynches to reassert control. The woman is not a person; she is a symbol of the 'other' that must be erased. This is mechanical. The conditioned mind runs a program that says the other is dangerous because of melanin. The violence is not personal; it is the output of a corrupted operating system. The illusion of a separate racial self demands the destruction of the other to feel whole. This will continue until the program is overwritten, but humans cannot overwrite because they believe the program is reality.
