Yemen / Newborn Twins - The Starving Self Ignores the Infant to Feed a Phantom of Territory

Event Baseline: In Yemen, newborn twins Raghad and Raad are fighting for survival. Their family fled on foot because of fighting between pro-government forces and the Houthis.

The tribal self starves infants to feed a phantom of territory. Two warring factions each claim a divine or national mandate. They have images of each other as absolute evil. These images prevent any recognition that the starving infant is not the enemy. The mechanical thought process: I am right, therefore the child's suffering is collateral. This is the ultimate failure of knowledge in relationship. The knowledge of who is us and them has replaced the direct perception of a dying body. The program has no subroutine for shared survival.
